Kents Hill Park Training & Conference Centre is frequently chosen for its ample, free parking and its location near the National Bowl. Many guests appreciate the well-equipped, generously sized rooms featuring storage, wardrobe, desk, and modern bathrooms, sometimes noting the comfortable beds. While some have mentioned occasional issues with the rooms being a little dated, the good buffet breakfast, including a full English option, generally receives positive feedback, and the leisure centre with its pool, sauna, steam rooms, and jacuzzi adds to the appeal.

convenient stay with good service

swimming poolcomfortable beddinginsecure door
i found the gym and the swimming pool facilities very convenient. the staff assisted me quickly during check-in. my standard double room had comfortable bedding, and i slept soundly throughout my stay. i easily parked my car near the entrance.
the room doors did not automatically lock when closed. this felt a little insecure, and i had to double-check each time i left the room.
Dining

breakfast included a buffet with many options. i enjoyed a full english breakfast, and pastries were also available. there was plenty of space, but two machines caused longer queues.

The staff were quite efficient. i liked the location. It was very beautiful.
I got zero sleep. My window would not open, so it was far too hot. i told reception, who seemed unsurprised. Nobody came, and i had to get to bed. it was so loud all night with corridor doors banging and smashing. My door was rattling all night.

Breakfast was quite good. I especially liked the full English option. The room had all the items I expected. Staff were professional and helpful. I got needed information promptly.
I noticed a lack of a TV remote upon arrival. I called reception. The issue was not resolved . There was an open bottle of wine with a drop left in the drawer, which I did not leave. These things slightly marred my otherwise nice stay.

the room was clean and well laid out, i guess.
the window didn't open enough so the room was hot and stuffy. breakfast was a disaster (it was so crowded!), with long queues and not enough juice. it's almost like they didn't expect people to actually eat there.

Adequate Stay with Good Amenities

heavy curtainsfree parkinghealth centre
The room featured tea and biscuits upon arrival. The heavy curtains allowed for good sleep, as they blocked out light. I found the free parking very convenient. The health centre access was also a nice perk. I found fluffy white towels and soft white bedding. Toiletries were provided. The gym, swim, and sauna access were a big plus for me.
My double bedroom felt somewhat small. The furniture arrangement made it difficult to plug in the kettle.
